Destoner that floats grain on a vibrating air deck and sinks stones, glass and metal — protecting your husker, screens and final product.
Overview
A destoner removes everything heavier than grain: stones, glass, metal fragments and mud balls. Material passes over a vibrating, inclined deck while air is blown up through it. Grain floats and travels over the deck; stones stay in contact with the deck and are carried to the stone outlet.
It is available in suction (negative pressure) and pressure (positive pressure) versions. Suction type is common where dust must be contained inside the machine; pressure type is simpler where space is tight. We will advise which fits your line.
Why it cannot be skipped
A single stone reaching a rice husker damages rubber rolls; a stone reaching a whitener scores the screen; a stone in a finished bag is a customer complaint you cannot explain away. Destoning is cheap insurance on equipment that costs far more.
Setting it up
Air volume, deck angle and feed rate decide the separation, and they change with the material and with moisture. We confirm the arrangement for your grain and provide the initial settings; the operator then has marked positions to return to.
